The Mitchell County Courthouse at 111 S Hersey in Beloit is the center of much of County government. The current County site identifies the majority of government offices as being located in the historic courthouse.

The courthouse was completed in 1901 using locally quarried limestone and remains one of the County’s defining civic landmarks.
